The Metz Family

This week I photographed the wonderful, energetic, and very entertaining Metz Family at the Kane County Forest Preserve. The family is full of love and has so much fun together! You could see each member had their strong role in the dynamic, making for a perfect mesh of personalities. Thank you Marty, Michele, Ryan, Patrick, Michael, Callie, and Ruby (their tiny Shih-tzu pup) for letting me spend a beautiful Autumn afternoon with you all, and allowing me to get a glimpse into your daily life!

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing my "baby" cousin's senior pictures. We had fun the entire time, no matter how much he claims he was being tortured! I am very proud of how mature he is for an 18 year old, and am so happy I was able to share in such a big part of his senior year. We had no choice but to end with some goofy faces for his mom! Enjoy!

Jessica + Dan

First of all, welcome to my blog! I hope you are as excited as I am to begin this new journey! I could not have asked for a better first posting than to share with you a couple that is near and dear to my heart - Jessica and Dan. Jessica and I have been friends since grade school, and Dan since freshman year of college in 2003. I unknowingly set these two great friends up, giving Jessica Dan's phone number after she grabbed his attention with her beauty and endless energy. Jess and Dan have the connection that you can feel by merely observing them. From their interesting dialect when communicating to the stolen looks Dan gets when Jessica isn't paying attention is priceless - a true match made in heaven. Here is to you, and thank you for letting me be a part of your lives from introducing you so many years ago, to celebrating your engagement, through standing up next to you when you commit yourselves to each other next summer!
